On behalf of the organizing committee, We are pleased to welcome and invite all of you to join the 9th International Live Demonstration Course, Angioplasty Summit 2004, in Seoul.

New for this year, the venue will be the New Convention Center of Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel, Seoul, Korea which provides Angioplasty Summit 2004 with a vastly expanded venue creating new possibilities for the multifaceted components of the conference.

Angioplasty Summit 2004 is sponsored by the CardioVascular Research Foundation (CVRF), Korea and the Asan Medical Center in Seoul, and co-sponsored by the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF), USA and the Lenox Hill Heart and Vascular Institute of New York, USA.

Angioplasty Summit 2004 will feature international scientific abstract presentations, the contents of are published in a supplement issue of the International Journal of Cardiovascular Interventions. The meeting offers a great opportunity to review the latest issues in the interventional field of cardiovascular medicine.

Keeping pace with the rapidly evolving arena of drug eluting stent interventions, Angioplasty Summit 2004 offers live transmissions, state-of-the-art lectures and case presentations, and discussion of the practical issues, latest modalities and new skills in the field of cardiovascular interventions for all those who are involved in this area.

Angioplasty Summit 2004 also features exclusive live case satellite transmissions from the Lenox Hill Heart and Vascular Institute of New York, USA, the CCT group in Japan and the Asan Medical Center and Chonnam National Hospital in Korea, and will include breakfast meetings, lunchtime break sessions, and evening symposia .

We hope the Angioplasty Summit 2004 will serve as a forum for the leading scholars from around the world to gather together to form and build friendships through academic exchange.
